School Initiatives

At O.I.S. we aim to address all four walls of a student's hauora. We believe that when taha tinana (physical well-being), taha hinengaro (mental and emotional well-being), taha whanau (social well-being) and taha waiura (spiritual well-being) are in alignment, students are at their best to learn. Below are some of the primary initiatives we have - outside the classroom - for helping students through their learning journey.
