Board of Trustees

Similar to our school, the Board of Trustees is a culturally diverse group of individuals who work together like a family. They can be thought of as the ‘Parents’ of Otahuhu Intermediate, tirelessly aiming to provide our students top quality education in a top quality teaching environment. They provide guidance and assistance to all members of the learning community, and keep our waka steered on a positive course. To learn more about our BOT members, click on their names.

About Me

I love the time I have been on the board at Otahuhu Intermediate, which started in 2013. The school is such a mixture of vibrant culture, and clever young girls and boys reaching for adulthood! They are led by a caring, and kind, and clever group of teachers with Brent and his team. I have lived and worked for my career with school boards for 30 years and this school is a wonderful example of how engaged parents on the board and the leadership team can make such a happy and safe place for our young people to prepare for their high school years and adult life.

About Me

I have enjoyed my time with the Otahuhu Intermediate School Board over the last year. Being encouraged by the ability to participate in my daughter's development was a huge factor in me joining the Board. The staff are great and the students are truly awesome in so many ways. I genuinely believe our kids are priceless and deserve only the best, and we as a board will always keep that at the forefront of our decisions. It's a privilege to contribute to the well being of our tamariki, which I cherish and don't take lightly.
